Geoff's Plot

Geoff like Gordon has also worked hard to turn wasteland into a viable plot, the hut (pic 1 ) also acts as a meeting/tea room when the weather is bad. ( we don't need bad weather as an excuse to stop for tea). pic2 shows the plot starting to take shape. Pic3  Potato bed with plants just starting to show. Pic4 shows the Pot leeks I am attempting to grow to show size, already 2.5" inches around picture taken 25/04/05. Pic5 shows top bed planted with onions leeks and shallots with cauliflower and sprouts in the foreground.

The picture below shows the extra half plot I am going to take on. It runs from the small green container (top right) to the dug area (top left) Half way down the plot there is a spring which at some stage we all hope to make a feature of. The plot measures about    12 ft. x 50 ft.   W/C 25/04 started to clear new plot prior to making a start on digging. As the main plot is on target I am not going to rush with the new addition but do a bit at a time and enjoy it.
