Georges Plot

George also put in a great deal of work to clear and prepare his plot  (pic1) only to discover that he had a spring in the top half that soaked down the plot making it unworkable. He has now laid a pipe full length to drain away the water and things are now improving.

To help tidy up the Allotments George took on a small area in the gateway and after the preparation has now planted with potatoes . This has greatly improved the entrance to the Allotments and should give a fair return for his effort. (pic2)
